Meeting of the Minds 2020 - Critical Impact September 8 - 10 2020
Beth Kransberger is a consultant, educator and leader with more than 25 years of experience working to diversify the workforce and build pathways of access for groups historically underrepresented in various sectors of our local, state and national economies, including people of color, first generation college students, first generation U.S. citizens, women, persons with disabilities, residents of rurally isolated regions, veterans and LGBTQia people.
A portion of her work focuses on barrier removal within educational and training pathways to the workforce. Another piece of her practice concentrates on working collaboratively with clients to update and transform their outreach, recruitment, hiring, retention and promotion processes, while nurturing an inclusive, vibrant climate. The final segment of her work is centered on crisis management with respect to workplace climate, employee retention and an inclusive workforce.
As part of this work, Beth conducts trainings on the impact of implicit bias, transforming typically well-intentioned processes and strategies to develop successful inclusive workplaces and leveraging the benefits of educational and workplace inclusion. Most importantly, Beth works with clients to craft individualized, sustainable, and systemic strategies to meet their needs.
A lawyer by training, Beth is a national speaker on issues of race, gender, LGBTQIA matters, educational equity and workforce development topics. She resides in San Diego where she serves on several boards and a city-wide commission.
