About this Speaker

Kecia is a vital part of CEA’s training and development team. Her professional background includes education, training and teaching in both educational and corporate work environments. Kecia came to CEA in 2014 and brought all of her talents together to become one of our most dynamic and experienced trainers. Her strength in training lies in her ability to truly engage with all the participants and to ensure her presentations are interactive and interesting. Whether it’s required harassment prevention trainings, Professional Edge, a HRCI certified training program designed for unemployed professionals, or various Leadership Training series for organizations throughout the state, Kecia assists businesses in developing strong and successful workforces. Client and Industry Background Kecia began her professional career working for Hyatt hotels in Human Resources and has also taught bilingual first grade, English as a second language (ESL) at the University of California Irvine as well as Rancho Santiago College. Kecia spent several years working as a Regional Customer Service Manager and Trainer in the Retail industry, before joining CEA. Education Kecia has a BA in Spanish from the University of Montana, a TESOL certificate, and Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of California, Irvine.
